About the day Westbury Arts Centre is opening its doors for a lively and welcoming Creative Taster Day, inviting the community to explore a wide range of creative workshops in a relaxed, friendly setting. With short, hands‑on sessions led by supportive tutors, visitors can build confidence, experiment with different art forms, and discover the joy of making without pressure or prior experience. For those who have visited before, this is your chance to explore new techniques, meet different tutors, and consider expanding your practice. Whether you are stepping into an art studio for the first time or returning to discover a new discipline, the Creative Taster Day offers a bridge between the variety of courses and workshops Westbury has to offer. Sessions will run for 1 - 1.5 hours from £8 per hour, per participant. About Westbury Arts Centre Westbury Arts Centre sits on the vibrant west side of Milton Keynes, right beside the beautiful Shenley Wood, and has been a thriving hub for artists since the 1980s. Now a registered charity, based in a stunning Grade II listed 17th‑century moated manor, the house is an inspiring setting that sparks creativity the moment you arrive. Offering 19 unique artist studios along with a range of characterful public rooms and exhibition spaces available at accessible hire rates. It’s a place where artists, makers, and the community come together to create, collaborate, and share their work. Our annual Events Programme brings the house to life throughout the year, with creative workshops, dynamic exhibitions, and much‑loved events including MK Open and Heritage Open Days.
