About Us

Westbury Arts Centre, is a vibrant creative hub located in a Grade II listed building on the historic Shenley Wood site in Milton Keynes. It offers 19 artist studios and provides affordable, high-quality visual arts courses and space for artists to exhibit and volunteering opportunities.​​
 

Our mission is to make the arts accessible to everyone, encouraging artistic growth through workshops, exhibitions, and events. Our grounds are haven for wildlife and managed to promote biodiversity.

As a charity, overseen by a dedicated group of Trustees, we are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for both artists and the public.

 

Our aim is to enrich lives and build a happier, healthier, and more connected community in Milton Keynes, where creativity and nature thrive together.

Join Our Team

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and organised Business Operations and Marketing Manager to join our team and support our vibrant arts community.

​

This is a part-time role (25 hours per week), perfect for someone enthusiastic about the arts with experience in administration, adult learning and digital marketing who can help us achieve our ambitious goals.

​

Westbury Arts Centre aims to inspire people to live more creative, happier and healthier lives through the provision of workshops, renting studios to artists, mounting exhibitions and hiring out rooms for creative and wellbeing activities.​​​​

Join Our Team as an Art Tutor

We’re excited to expand our community offerings and are seeking talented Art Tutors to design and deliver engaging adult art courses and workshops across a variety of disciplines.

Please review our current listings, and should you have a workshop idea that we do not currently offer, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Feel free to get in touch and share your proposal with us.

We’re looking for reliable, well-organized individuals who are passionate about art and possess strong communication skills. Westbury Arts Centre encourages people from all sections of our community to apply. 

 

While prior experience working with adults is desirable, it’s not essential—we value creativity and enthusiasm above all!

Work Experience

Westbury Arts Centre aims to support the artistic growth of young people in Milton Keynes where possible. However as a small charity, with limited resources, we are regretfully currently unable to offer work experience opportunities or internships for school-age young people.
