COURSE/WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

This 5 week course is for the more experienced watercolour painter who wishes to progress their practice gaining confidence and discovering their own style. There will be opportunities to combine watercolour with other media and explore and experiment with traditional and contemporary techniques. The class will look at different themes and approaches each week and examine other artists techniques in their watercolour paintings. We will also look at composition and how to plan your painting whether from images provided, your own reference or working from still life in the studio. ABOUT TUTOR: Samantha is an Artist and Illustrator living in Northamptonshire working mainly in watercolour and printmaking.
