Beehive Tour

ABOUT THE TOUR:

Westbury Arts Centre is working with the Bee expert Mike Bensley and Westbury Bee Group to offer an opportunity to tour around the apiary to understand what a working hive is like, and to offer a glimpse into a daily life of beekeeping. 

COST:

Adult: £5

Under 18s: £2

Minimum Age: 5 years old

12 year old's and under will need to be accompanied by an adult. 

HOW TO BOOK: 

Email Westbury Arts Centre on admin@westburyartscentre.co.uk for more information or to reserve a place. Please provide us with your height, as we need to ensure we have Beekeeping Suit available in your height. 

MATERIALS/ EQUIPMENT THAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

You will be required to bring the following items with you to the tour. Failure to do so will result in your space being cancelled, and you will not be reimbursed the fees paid. 

- Wellington boots

- Marigold/ rubber gloves (so you don't get stung)

- Gaffer Tape

All participants will be provided with a Beekeeping Suit (height needs to be provided at the time of booking).
