COURSE/WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

This is a 10 week adult community textiles group sold as a set of 10 sessions. Do you love sewing, embroidery, knitting, crotcheting or working with anything textiles? Would you be interested in joining a group and meeting like minded people? WHO IS THIS CLUB SUITABLE FOR? The group is suitable for all levels of experience: you may be a beginner, have some experience already, or be a skilled professional who would like to work alongside other textile lovers and share your skills, or you may wish to work independently on your own. Members will support each other to share skills and build confidence. The sessions will enable you to develop your own skills in textiles practice with others and free from the pressure of a taught course. MATERIALS: Please bring along your textiles work and any equipment needed (e.g. threads/ sewing machine/ wools and fabrics). An iron, ironing board and cutting mat can be provided if required, please contact us at admin@westburyartscentre.org.uk to request it. PRICE: This is a set of 10 sessions. Each session is 2.5 hours. The cost is £60 for 10 sessions. Please note that we hope to continue this course of 10 sessions beyond 2nd July 2024 - subject to interest. LOCATION: This course will take place in Studio 15. All workshops, courses and clubs take place in rooms situated on the ground floor. Accessible parking spaces are available to anyone who requires them.
