COURSE/WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP: This monthly workshop is aimed at artists of all levels of experience. Beginners/improvers and those wanting to switch from watercolour and acrylics should anticipate and enjoy the excitement of using this medium and hopefully will be thrilled with what they create. TUTOR INFORMATION: Robin Souter is a long term resident artist at Westbury Arts Centre, an experienced teacher and retired Consultant surgeon. He aims to encourage creativity in a relaxed and congenial environment. His guiding Mantra is “Enjoy oils and don’t be afraid to experiment.” For more information about the tutor visit our Resident Artists page at: https://www.westburyartscentre.org.uk/robinsouter MATERIALS PROVIDED: Paint, brushes, thinners and cleansing materials will be provided for the duration of the session. MATERIALS TO BRING WITH YOU: Bring your own canvas (50cmx40cm), and it would be a good idea to wear an apron. Reference images will be available but by all means bring your own. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The workshop is scheduled to take place from 10am to 2pm, which includes approximately 30 minutes break for lunch. Refreshments (such as teas and coffees only) available on site. Bring your lunch with you. LOCATION: This workshop will take place in either the Drawing Room or Studio 15. Both rooms are situated on the ground floor of Westbury Arts Centre. Accessible parking spaces are available to anyone who requires them.
