Sisters Sarah Wallis and Karen Dunn took time out to attend together a half-day workshop on making a needle-felted Robin at Westbury Arts Centre.
Sarah said: "It was a lovely and rare opportunity to enjoy a couple of hours crafting with my sister.
“During the Needle Felting workshop we had the opportunity to make two robins, which for us as a family have a special meaning - as the saying goes ‘Loved ones appear when Robins are near’.
“This was our first time attending a course at Westbury and we would definitely come again and recommend it to others. The course was well run, friendly and fun. There was a no pressure, it was a small group in a relaxed setting.
“We lost our mother 9 years ago and to help with his loneliness and grief, our father, Terry Reynolds, got involved with the Westbury Bee Group which is based in the grounds of Westbury Arts Centre. He helped establish the Bee Meadow with Mike Bensley, the founder of the group.
“Sadly we lost our father three years ago but his legacy will live on at Westbury, it will always be a special place for us, along with some of the people who are based there.
“The two robins we crafted in class are a special reminder of our parents, next time maybe we could Needle Felt a bee! "
