An immersive exhibition exploring the connection between creativity and mental well-being
Artist Nosa Umaigba unveils his latest project, "Art & Mind", in a powerful new exhibition at the Barn Gallery, Westbury Arts Centre, opening Friday 27th June 2025.
Born from a deeply personal journey and inspired by wider societal conversations around mental health, Art & Mind represents a bold and thoughtful blend of storytelling, visual exploration, and advocacy. Nosa has witnessed first-hand the transformative power of art as a tool for healing and understanding, and through this project, he invites audiences to engage with mental health in a meaningful and creative way.
“Art isn’t just about what you see—it’s about what you feel, confront, and release,” says Umaigba. “With Art & Mind, I wanted to create a space where we can reflect on the emotional landscapes we all navigate, and celebrate the power of artistic expression as a form of care and connection.”
This must-see exhibition runs over one weekend only, with free entry to all visitors.
