WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP SUITABLE FOR? Suitable for everyone interested in nature, beekeeping and those who are thinking of joining the Beekeeping Course at Westbury Arts Centre in 2027. ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Beekeeping experts from Westbury Bee Group will provide a fascinating insight into the life of a honey bee. You will be provided with information about the life of a honey bee, as well as what happens within a hive and the division of labour. Learn just how important our bees are and how modern technology has played an important understanding of the roles of different bees. If you feel inspired to take up beekeeping or sign up to the Beekeeping Course at Westbury, the Bee Group will be on hand to offer advice. ABOUT THE TUTORS: We've been keeping bees at Westbury for over 25 years, and for the last few years the Bee Group have been running intensive Beekeeping Courses at Westbury Arts Centre. These practical courses have provided an in-depth look at bees and how to keep them. Many of the students have gone on to set up there own apiaries and regularly come back to help out. We are passionate about bees and are only to pleased to be able to pass on our knowledge to the next generation of beekeepers.
