About the Event
INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE:
Tutor Charlotte Howarth from Abraxas Academy and Making-Marks has created this two day introduction to stone carving/letter carving course for Milton Keynes Arts Centre. Participants will produce a small relief carving either for the garden or the home. You will receive all practical advice as to what is possible over the two days, dependent on your experience and skill level.
No previous experience is required, people of all skill levels are welcome to attend. Adults only.
ABOUT THE TUTOR:
Charlotte has been carving stone and lettering for almost 40 years. Her work is in St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey and Ripon Cathedral. She has worked on major commissions in the UK and Ireland and has many years teaching experience. She believes teaching should be a fun and relaxed experience for everyone in her classes.
