About the Event
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This will be a relaxing and creative day. You will learn a lot about wool, and use a range of techniques from the ancient art of wet felt making to create a unique picture of your choice. These skills of making good quality felt using wool fibres and embellishing it with silk and different plant fibres can be
used in other projects. Hand crafted wool felt makes an excellent base for embroidery. You will learn how to display your picture, and about a variety of projects made from flat felt.
ABILITY:
Suitable for complete beginners and experienced felt makers.
