About the Event
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
This class is designed for those who are confident using their sewing machine but would like to take the next step into garment making. You may have completed one of my beginner classes, or you might simply want to build confidence using a commercial sewing pattern and sewing wearable items. Some people also join just for the enjoyment of sewing in a friendly, social group of like minded makers.
What will I make during the day?
The session is focused on making a pair of PJ bottoms using a commercial pattern. The day includes time at the start for setup and getting familiar with your pattern, a relaxed sewing session, and time at the end for finishing and tidying up. (There will also be a short break for lunch.) We’ll be working at Westbury Arts Centre, where we have a lovely, spacious environment to sew and create.
