Intermediate Up-Cycling Day

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:

This workshop is designed for anyone who has basic sewing machine experience and would like to develop their skills through creative upcycling. The aim is to explore how pre-loved fabrics and clothing can be transformed into beautiful, useful new items while learning new techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment.

By the end of the workshop, participants will:

•              Explore how to identify and harvest interesting details from unwanted clothing, including buttons, trims and decorative features

•              Gain confidence working with different fabrics, including velvet and stretch fabrics

•              Learn techniques for creating practical sewn items from pre-loved materials
