INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE:

Join artist and sculptor Asya Dudko for a relaxed and inspiring four-week Christmas ornament workshop at Westbury Arts Centre, Milton Keynes.

Discover the creative possibilities of Creative Paperclay, a versatile air-drying material that can be shaped, textured and painted to create expressive three-dimensional designs. You will create your own unique Clay & Glass Christmas Ornament, combining sculpted elements with beautifully coloured glass.

During the workshop, Asya will guide you step by step through the creative process. You will develop your own design from a selection of examples, then learn how to build the form using wire and Paperclay, add texture and detail, and finish your ornament using Asya's distinctive painting and finishing techniques.

There will also be opportunities to incorporate small decorative or meaningful objects into your design, giving your finished piece its own character and story.
