ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
Come to Westbury Arts Centre and produce The Art of Abstract Leaves.
Something really totally and UTTERLY different. The Art of Abstract Leaves will show you how you can use acrylic paint, leaves and a simple technique to produce some wonderful and different art of your own. Art that ranges in size from maybe 30cm square to 130cm square. Leaves from the trees, acrylic paint and canvases and boards – simples.
You will be creating a couple of practice artworks on the day and then starting would could be a larger piece that you continue in your own time. The first small works of art you do will allow you to practice Abstract Leaves as you create a leaf based artwork.
You will learn, and get handouts on, how to paint the leaves and apply them, glazing, getting a 3D effect, analogous colour theory and how to fix things, if they go a bit wrong.
The names of those who attend one of the Bob Ross workshops run by Russell Collins, or other paint days run by Russell; in May, June, July or August will go into a raffle at the end of the August 13th event and have the chance of winning a Bob Ross Master Paint Set and accessories worth about £200.00. Come to 2 or 3 and your name will go in twice or thrice etc.
ABOUT THE TUTOR:
Russell Collins is the only certified Bob Ross Instructor in Buckinghamshire and runs a number of Bob Ross days a year at Westbury Arts Centre.
COST:
£75.00 per person or £55.00 for an under 18. Frames will be available for £25.00
