Apiary Tour

ABOUT THE TOUR:

Westbury Arts Centre is working with the Bee expert Mike Bensley and Westbury Bee Group to offer an opportunity to tour around the apiary to understand what a working hive is like, and to offer a glimpse into a daily life of beekeeping. 

REQUIRED ITEMS:

You will be required to bring the following items with you to the tour. Failure to do so will result in your space being cancelled, and you will not be reimbursed the fees paid. 

- Wellington boots

- Marigold/ rubber gloves (so you don't get stung)

ITEMS PROVIDED:

All participants will be provided with a Beekeeping Suit for the duration of the tour only (height needs to be provided at the time of booking). 

COST:

£10 for over 11 year old's. Under 11s are free of charge, but must be accompanied by a full paying adult. 

HOW TO BOOK:

Please email Westbury Beekeeping Group on westburybeegroup2022@outlook.com to book a space and provide us with your height so we can ensure we have a suit (in your height) ready for you.
