Milton Keynes Open  -  10th-18th July
Let's Get Creative!

Milton Keynes Open is all about championing local creatives, that's why we've teamed up with three fabulous art tutors who can encourage us to be more creative.  We've lined up three workshops over the course of Milton Keynes Open, aimed at children between the ages of 7-12 years although anyone can join in!

Our live zoom workshop "Birds Flying Free" will take place on the 10th of July at 2pm, this is free to join but we do have limited spaces so early booking is highly recommended.  Follow the link below to book your place.  You will need to provide materials, most of which should be items that you already have at home.  If you have any problems accessing materials please do let us know so we can help.

Our other two workshops "Lets Go Dotty" and "Summer Fun Embroidery"" have been pre-recorded so can be watched and re watched at your leisure.  Follow the links below for full details.

We hope you enjoy the workshops - If you do take part we'd love to see what you produced and know what you think so do email us your pictures at admin@westburyartscentre.co.uk

So now just sit back and get creative!

Have fun making swirly paint marks to create the grass and sky for your monoprint.

We will also make a collage bird using colourful paper torn from magazines.

Once the bird is made and cut out it is glued to the monoprint. The picture can have finishing touches added to it with more collage.

LET'S GO DOTTY

Do you like playing with dots?

Let’s Go Dotty is a workshop for children aged 7-12, you will be using polka dots to create a fun filled bowl (or 3 ) of dotty fruit. You’ll be seeing dots before your eyes by the end and have something fun and colourful to hang on the wall (as well as eat the fruity models).
